Learning Support / Resource Teachers
The aim of Learning Support is to optimize the teaching and learning process in order to enable pupils with learning difficulties to achieve adequate levels of proficiency in literacy and numeracy before leaving primary school.
We currently have 3 full time and 2 part time resource teachers in our school.
In Scoil Chaitriona Cailini we are very lucky to have learning support for anyone that feels they need a little bit extra help in literacy and numeracy.
Support is given by means of withdrawal from the classroom in small groups or on a one to one basis. It is also given as in-class support.
